Student life at Ryerson University for Nicole Banh is incredibly supportive. Nicole is doing a 5 year Co-op Honors Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Tourism Management, double minoring in Sociology and Marketing Innovation. She is heavily involved within her academics and strives to take part in student group events, networking sessions, and mentorship programs within Ted Rogers School of Management.

RYERSON LIBERAL ARTS SOCIETY
Website Designer
• Manage RLAS student website by updating essential pages, upcoming events, & student resources
• Communicate with the VP of Marketing on RLAS to coordinate appropriate updates on the website
• Create an accessible RLAS student website that is accessible to over 4,400 Ryerson liberal students
• Volunteer for virtual orientation and conference to monitor and moderate zoom chats and support
BREAKTHROUGH PROGRAM
Peer Mentor
• Attend scheduled bi-weekly virtual events to mentor 9 first year TRSM students alongside 2 TRSM mentor student leaders
• Fostering mentee's growth socially, academically, and professional through provided resources from the Breakthrough program
• Provide them with the expertise, skill, and knowledge to excel and become student leaders themselves
RYERSON WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
Marketing Associate
• Create a number of 2-3 Instagram graphics on Canva monthly to promote upcoming virtual events
• Communicate with the President and VP of Marketing on promotional material related to Instagram posts
• Successfully maintain RWIL brand image on graphics while supporting the team on other roles
RYERSON UNIVERSITY HONG KONG STUDENT ASSOCIATION
Event Associate
• Assist in planning future events alongside the executive team for the general members virtually
• Work alongside the Executive Vice-President, VP of Event, and VP of Marketing in a 1-3 hour weekly basis
• Maintain a consistent mix of Canadian to Hong Kong cultural influence in event planning
